Economics/Government
This was our Zimbabwe project directed by Alex Khuu, Amanda Thai, Ronald Huynh (Me), and Tin Lee. We were asked to create a video explaining the economics of Zimbabwe. First, we plan out our whole video and create the script. Then, we record ourselves drawing on a white board to explain what we're talking about. Finally, we put the whole video together from all the mini clips. This assignment was very interesting because we get to learn a lot about Zimbabwe's agriculture, resources, etc. This project wasn't just fun, but it made me spend more time with my teammates. I now know a lot about Zimbabwe's agriculture, resources, etc. An interesting fact about it is that it's about the size of Montana.
This is our Campaign project directed by Alex Khuu, Amanda Thai, Ronald Huynh (Me), and Tin Lee. We had to represent ourselves as a political party and make a political advertisement for this party. The person running for office (Tin) had to talk about 4 problems that the United States is facing and how he is going to fix it. We planned out the whole script ahead of time and record everything in 1 day. The recording took somewhat 10 hours to finish and the editing took even longer. This project was very fun and we all enjoyed taking a part in this. What made it meaningful to me is all the times we laughed at the video when we did something wrong. It wasn't the mistakes, but the reactions that followed. I now know that the United States is facing a lot of critical problems. Everyone has different viewpoints which makes it even more problematic.
